This site runs no analytics, no advertising trackers and no third-party scripts. Nothing here sets a cookie.
Enquiry data is held to answer the enquiry and is deleted after twelve months if no order follows. Commercial records are held seven years for tax law.
Test records are held for ten years minimum. This is not our preference, it is an accreditation requirement: an accredited result must remain reconstructable from the raw data and the calibration state of the instruments on the day. If a report is questioned in 2034, we must be able to show how the 2026 number was produced.
Test results belong to the client who commissioned them. We do not publish them, do not show them to other clients even anonymised, and do not use them in our own material without written permission. Where a legal obligation would require disclosure — a court order, or a regulator exercising statutory powers — we will tell the client before disclosing unless prohibited from doing so.
Our accreditation body may inspect any record during assessment. Assessors are bound by their own confidentiality obligations, and this access cannot be refused without losing accreditation.
Our staff, our accountant, our calibration provider (instrument records only), and RvA assessors during assessment. Nobody else.
Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification or erasure of personal data. Erasure cannot extend to test records within their retention period, for the reason above. Write to lab@hushfield.example with "AVG request" in the subject line; we reply within thirty days.
You may complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. We would rather you wrote to us first.
